Sundé Nesbit, PhD (she/her/hers)

Licensed Pediatric Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist specializing in assessments with school-age children and adolescents. My expertise lies in addressing learning challenges, and I also have extensive experience exploring behavioral difficulties, memory and attention concerns, school difficulties, and emotional struggles.

I pride myself on taking a strengths-based approach. My assessments are comprehensive, detail-oriented, and individually focused. I view each client as more than just a diagnosis and work closely with children and families to provide diagnostic clarity and identify the resources and support needed to improve their quality of life.

In my personal time, I enjoy traveling and attending live performances, including music and plays, within the central Iowa community. When I’m not seeing clients, I work at Iowa State University as a part-time instructor. My spouse and I also spend a lot of time trying to keep up with our teenage daughter, who is entering high school, working part-time, and learning to drive!

I graduated from Purdue University with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2006. I have worked as a testing psychologist in Iowa since 2013 and am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to Magnolia Connection. I joined Magnolia Connection in August 2024. I provide services in the Norwalk and Ames offices.
